This bungalow with craftsman detailing sits with very little setback almost directly on the sidewalk. It is also on the same level as the sidewalk. A jerkinhead roof runs parallel to the street, and its wide overhanging eaves are supported by brackets. Stairs with a metal hand rail lead to a small entry porch on the street that also has a clipped gable, and is detailed with exposed rafter ends. Beveled lap siding covers the house, and very little appears to have been altered, with the exception of a shed roof entry porch on the rear. A water table brings the siding and the concrete foundation together. 6/1 wood double-hung windows punctuate the house.
This property is located within the McLoughlin Conservation District but is not a locally designated historic site. Contact ocplanning@orcity.org for more information.
