Oregon City's Municipal Elevator overlooking downtown

Destination Oregon City, Inc. was created to help further the evolution of the tourism program within the community. Its mission is to bring together organizations that serve all aspects of the visitor experience – from lodging providers, attractions operators, restaurants, and retailers – so that they can share insights into what makes their respective businesses stand out as tourist destinations.

In essence, Destination Oregon City, Inc. will promote the Oregon City community as a tourist destination. Shortly, the organization will have its own staff.

Board Members, and the segment they represent are:

Chair Holly Soll - Lodging
Vice Chair Lee Belowski - Outdoor Recreation
Treasurer Daria Loi - Arts
Secretary Trieste Andrews - Arts
Bryce Morrow - Craft Beverage
Corinne Lowenthal - Heritage
Jess Land - Agritourism

The City of Oregon recently completed the creation of an independent private, nonprofit entity designed to develop and promote tourism within the community.  Destination Oregon City, Inc., a 501 (c) (6) Destination Management and Marketing Organization (DMMO), is charged with coordinating with the community’s tourism assets including visitor-facing nonprofits and for-profit organizations. Whereabout, a consulting firm specializing in helping local communities and organizations to build their visitor economies and programs, is assisting with the talent recruitment activities.
