SAMUEL STEVENS HOUSE c.1867 -- Statement of Significance: John Cason, the original owner of the house, was born in Missouri in 1836. by 1870 he and his wife, Mary, and their four children had settled in Canemah, where Cason was a farmer. The house is significant for its age. It is also significant for its architecture, unusual as it is actually a "double-house" with two front doors, and two brick chimneys.
