NARCISSA BOWERS RESIDENCE c.1909 -- Statement of Significance: Narcissa (May) Bowers was the widow of Canemah laborer William Bowers, a native New Yorker. Narcissa was born in Oregon in 1856. She purchased this house in her old age. The house has been severely altered and retains few of its original characteristics.
